how technology moves, years ago in the very early 90' I was working in a small computer retailer, an angmoh academic I think from NUS came in with a 500megabyte scsi hardisk. That 500mb looked exactly like the size of the 1TB like a brick. He was looking for a scsi card to attach to his hardisk he bought at the computer fair. He paid something like $15,000 for that 500mb drive.Originally posted by FireIce:Maxtor OneTouch III

When you choose a Maxtor OneTouch III, you can easily:
* Add up to 1TB of extra space to your computer to back up or store your digital photos, videos, music, games and files
* Back up your entire hard drive, or select specific files for backup, either automatically or with a touch of a button
* Get an extra measure of security with our built-in Maxtor DriveLock®, which allows you to password-protect the drive against unauthorized users or in case of loss
* Use the Maxtor System RollbackTM feature to restore your Windows operating system, settings and applications to a point in time when they ran smoother, such as before a virus attack. Updates to photos, music and critical data files are kept current.
* Synchronize data between two or more computers, such as your home computer and work laptop
