Backup Game

I have an original game that I want to make a backup copy of...because the CD has been used for many times that there are lots of scratches on it....I tried using NERO...the copying is OK but the copied CD cant be used because of some copy protection thingy from this company called SECUROM....anyone knows how can I make my backup CD before it dies on me?

NFSU most wanted utilised this particular protection for their cds, so if you wanted to use the cd crack to play, it was really ley chey to get the crack started. I was using alcohol also, because I d/led the game online and I didn't need to play it on cd.

cos if I save it as an image...assuming the image can work...I would still have to constantly access my HDD during play...which would be quite tough on my HDD considering the game is a first player shooter game...ie....graphics intensive...need to load data frequently...I dun want to stress my laptop HDD un-necessarily -
after u make the iamge, you can burn it again to a new cd/dvd and kep it properly as a backup
