  What goodies are you guys looking for this IT Show 2006?
  
  I am looking for an external hard disk for backup purposes.
  
  Come in and share. Any tips for getting discounts can also share here.

  For both lower prices and free gifts.
  
  One thing I discovered when buying my lappy during Comex 2005 is that certain salespeople will have name tags right? The one serving me had his name tag facing the wrong directly such that I'm looking at the back of it instead of his name. The lowest prices they can give for all the laptop models are all there.
  
  I hope to get an All-in-1 printer... Its really troublesome not being able to print any document

  Once tried to print a photograph. Ink kinda overflow or something. Now cannot print anything. Maybe a few dots of colour here and there.

  For Acer one, it is one of the cheapest at the IT fair. $1898, comparable with Dell in terms of pricing. There is also $299 worth of freebies when you buy their laptop.
  
  If you are looking for more durable ones, go for IBM. They are offering their newest laptop, of which the battery life is longer than any of the other brands. It can last up till 11 hours and they are using the latest Intel Duo chip.

  i m actually pretty interested in the HP pavillion one...mkt price ard 2.5K if not wrong...wonder how much will they discount

  I see. I got one free printer also. Can print black and white but no colour de. Surprisingly, colour ink also gone when printing.

  The one I saw in newspapers cost $2899, about the same price they sell in Harvey Norman or Courts. Going tomorrow to see.

  Best is to go on Sunday. More freebies, cheaper but also got the most number of people.

  It's nearing $3000, so it's not worth it. Acer offers Intel Duo Core Mobile technology plus an integrated camera for $3998, which I think is better. Their connectivity is also better.

  me not very knowledgable in IT pdts...but i no need a powerful one..got a pavillion one ard 2.4K, wonder how much they will offer there..

  No need powerful one go for this one: HP Compaq nx6125. Cost $2099. This one is quite basic, mostly used for studies and businesses.

  i only fancy the pavillion model..cos its black in colour n the screen very nice..very sleak looking..if they can offer 2K, will be worth it

  Can bargain, if you know how to. Last day will be real cheap. Have to clear stock. Some can go lower than half price. Got see before, so nothing new. But no more freebies to collect.

  Same stuff, some quality. But not all will half price. Depends on the brand name. Unknown brand names will do such things, very popular ones, don't even bother to cut, unless they are desperate for sales.
