Longhorn Transformation Pack is a computer application that modifies files and settings in Microsoft Windows XP to make it look similar to Windows Vista (formerly known as Codename: Longhorn). This application has been very popular among Windows enthusiasts, who desire to have the newest version as early as possible.

choose the RO mirror site as the USA site dl speed is only 4.3 mb/sec compared to the RO's 200-400 mb/sec
apparentelly u need to move the NT files to another location, for me in C:/I386 but i gave up as so i cant move some of the files(access denied) -

i've installed the OS skin program but i dunno why some of my system files are corrupted as i cant restart...if i restart the computer will shut down and will not boot up unless if i off/on the master switch...but when i shut down and boot up it was normal....Originally posted by chanff8:Flyakite still looks nicer

so those ppl who want to install it unclick/uncheck the Shell32 download box...for those who already dled...uninstall the part.
Anyway the problem is that when u restart ur pc it will do normally to the point it turn off....then it will stop there and u cannot boot up ur PC by pressing the boot button like mine so u have to off/on the power socket switch...Turning off the pc and switching the acc is unaffected...after uninstalling the shell32 part ur pc can reboot
i cant solve the highlighted task icon of the program i clicked tho....so i hide the task bar...and another problem of Firefox page shaking up and down whether the task bar is hidden or not...Netscape dun have this problem -

Regarding the shaking, I have no idea. What is the version of your Flyakite? The latest is V3.5 -

anyway its too buggy for me so i uninstalled everything and then only install the mac os loader and the logon screen to decor the PC....reinstalling the whole thing no use...it still shake

LOL. I already got a Vista (Beta) running and honest its just Windows Xp with fades and skins. I still believe it will has lots of security glitches no matter how Microsoft say its perfect. The framework of Windows OS has found to be problematic.
