  If you want robust protection, it's definitely worth it.
  
  However, if you don't like a laggy PC, then better not buy it. It takes up lots of computer resources.

  if u are a home user, there are plenty of good (and better) anti-virus than NAV which are free to download from the web
  they provide updates and latest definitions as well...
  
  from experience, NAV eats ram
  
  do i have to tell u the story abt someone sending a virus outright to saimantec and even got a nice reply saying "Thank you, the attachment contains no virus"?

  NAV is a good programme..
  (pls use ori..haha ..if not u will have to ask yr friend to burn 4 u everytime there's an update)
  
  one thing..the scan is toooooooOOOOOOooooo freaking long...
  and freaking slow..
  
  made my warcraft game a bit slow...
  and sometimes when running it make my pc lag..
  
  but other than that..
  it's a comprehensive one..
  but usually u dont need NAV..
  
  if u have problems u can download free antivirus software from apple or adwarecontrol..
  
  and there's also plug ins for NAV with out actually requiring the ori NAV version..
  
  there's like 1000+ plug ins and downloads in the NAV web site..
  each for a particular virus..
  
  so have fun...

  I just bought mine at $89 few days back. I think this year's one scans slowly. But I feel alright with it as I'm using 1GB RAM.
