microsoft don't seems to get what the customers wants. what we want is a simple, user fridendly and easy-to-use office application. not one that will probably use up lots of resources, take up lots of hard disk space and takes forever to load.
we also don't care how nice and colourful it looks. as long as it gets the job done quick and fast is enough. -

They should include more features but not the graphics intensive stuff...I mean, what's the use of such graphics if it cant deliver what the consumers want?

hm... since we didn't hav a chance to become a beta tester~ we dunno abt the new features~ well, actually i think microsoft XP is already good with the currently features. i have checked out the 2007 thingy already...INDEED it doesnt have any new features or functions...at least not any worthy of significant mention.
You can just search it under googles to get into the official microsoft website which feature this 2007.
I believe customers would really want more features and functions....
e.g. more regression models in excel, able to animate graphs or see the progression of graphs....
for word, maybe ability to type chinese fonts, auto translation of chinese, korean, japanese texts into english texts...
inserting pictures whereby the overall document size can still be small and not very big, etc...
i can think of dozens and dozens of ideas and functions, hmm....wander if the microsoft people lack creativity or wat....

Its possible to type chinese fonts in Word, just have to enable chinese input.
I rather they just scrap down the fancy designs and get on with what the Office applications are suppose to do... Not to mention all the animation whenever you click a menu or minimize windows... I disable all those the moment I startup a new comp... Its just useless... -
