How to view chat history?

  Does anyone knows how to view chat history from msn properly?i know u can view it in msn but what about viewing it without using msn?i tried to view with notepad but all de coding and stuff came out instead of proper words?anyone?

  --> C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Received Files
  
  there should be a file
  
  xxx(your e-mail)
  
  open it
  
  -->history
  
  the logs should be in XML Document form

  Go to My Documents. Find if there is a folder called My Chat Logs. Your logs will be there. If you didn't set MSN to save chats, the folder would be empty.

  Weird... He is looking for a way to view the MSN chat history, not finding the chat logs...
  
  Try opening in MS Word or your internet browser.

  MSN has a habit of saving everything, so his logs will be his history as well. Unless he changed settings. By default, everything is there.

  but strange leh when my frien send me samples of his chat history is always neatly in notepad form...

  Maybe your friends simply copy the entire chat into Notepad

  neat... but sadly im not using msn plus coz there's lots of talk but it having adware and all..

  there's this option... allow sponsor.. do not allow sponsor..
