2nd hand Lappy harddisk

  Hi i found out my harddisk on my Benq Joybook 5000 crashed and i'm wondering where i can find 2nd hand ones. My warranty has expired and from my last visit to the service centre the guy, whos a nice fella, advised me if i want to upgrade harddisk i can go simlim sq and buy those conventional lappy harddsik and it will fit into my lappy.
  
  So any ideas specifically where i can find? I haven't been able to go down to SLS to really check out.
