Forward and rewind

Are there any software/program that allows me to foward and rewind video slowly and automatically? Window Media player and realplayer cannot rite?

i'm using windows media player 9.
some videos that i have can only be played from start to finish. i'm unable to foward or rewind it. is there an option or setting to change this?

Windows Media Player can do it, but only works for some videos. Real Player very hard to do so. Winamp also can. If you want auto, ask the Police. Their video player can auto playback and can rewind to specific timings. Probably going to cost a bomb for such a software.

The rewind and forward buttons is it greyed? If yes, it means the videos have been edited by the authors to keep the files small. Can view but can't forward or rewind. Most news vendors that offer videos do this.Originally posted by Gordonator:i'm using windows media player 9.
