They are used by private Intranet, and are never on public domain. The list below shows the IP address which are blackholes.
10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
The most common ones are 192.168.0.0 addresses, which are used by networking hardwares like routers. If your IP address is on a blackhole list, try resetting your router or firewall.
FAQ on Blackhole IP address
Your internet wiring isn't obscure. Just that the configuration went something wrong. Your router shouldn't use that IP address to sign up anything.Originally posted by mhcampboy:means to say my internet wiring or wad is obscure??...wad does it means anyway??... my internet connection is a restricted or secret?? wah...
It's not blacklisted. It just means that it isn't supposed to be on the public domain. They are private IP addresses. No one should be using those addresses to surf the web.Originally posted by kaobeikaobu:it means ur public ip address is on their dns server's blacklisted list![]()

Private IP addresses belongs to the hardware itself or some private networks. In your case, it could be the router. Your router (or you manually assigned one yourself) is supposed to assign you another IP address, not the 192.168.0.0 batch of IP addresses.Originally posted by mhcampboy:what u mean by private IP addressess?...its link str8 to my home wad....then use wad surf the web....spider web ah?
