i done everything they told me, change micro filter, reinstall the dialer.. security settings bla bla bla.... still cannot solve..
then they told me they will work on that, 2 months later, everything works fine...
but i still changed to starhub... -

Anyway, you are asking for trouble by not using antivirus software, unless you are using Mac. Even then, Mac isn't immuned to viruses. As I have said, there are some viruses which are capable of disconnecting one from the Internet, with or without the antivirus installed.
The ethernet cable is hardly the source for frequent disconnections, unless it isn't plug in properly.
my brother just call me and ask me wat to do, coz his pc is infectted with virus and cannot online.
scan under safe mode,delete under safe mode still there.
so need to format.
this time iwll upgrade to xp pro.
