Sony memory card most expensive of the lot of mem cards?

  Is it true?
  A 512MB Sony memory stick pro/pro duo already cost $100 compared to $40 for a Kingston 50X Elite Pro 512 SD Mem card....

  comparing the Kingston to the original Toshiba (claimed) 60X mem card tat came with it...how come the Kingston can perform faster?W/o flash i can take a photo in 3/4 sec but with the Toshiba one the camera have to wait like 2-3 sec and then can take...
