Help - SysProtect bugging me!

Yesterday when I turned on my computer and opened Internet Explorer, a weird window popped out suddenly, even though the website was at sgForums.
A second window popped out again later, warning me about the Bloodhound Virus, and that I should download a certain antivirus program to guard against it.
The windows all had "Microsoft Internet Explorer" in the titlebar, but they did not appear in my taskbar. They were not websites, but message boxes with real buttons that did not (appear to) link to any websites. I was given two buttons "OK" and "Cancel". I clicked "Cancel", but was brought to websites to download those programs. For instance, this.
As my Norton AntiVirus program happened to expire, I renewed my subscription last night. In the midst of renewing the subscription, a website popped out, trying to sell me the program "Win AntiVirus Pro" by comparing it against Norton AntiVirus.
After finishing renewing my antivirus software, I ran a full system scan for viruses and spyware with Norton Antivirus, and then another scan with Ad-Aware. Anything bad that was detected I had them deleted/quarantined.
But today the funny window popped out again.
What is the problem?
Or is it that the spyware/virus was not effectively removed because the scans were not done while the computer was in Safe Mode? -

erm, it's kinda cheeeeeeeeem...
can simplify for me? like, what's really going on? and how will taking those steps help to resolve the problem? -

Actually I also ran this Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool but nothing was detected.
You had the same thing pop out too? -

got it wen i did a win update.it somehow snuk in. the guys here gave me lotsa remedies n if u chk the last few pages of my tt thread. u can see wic worked for me -

The SysProtect website is malicious, it is already scanning in background without your permission, resulting in all sorts of rubbish popups, like it haven't finished scanning.
WinAntiVirus Pro is a fake antivirus. A search on Google says that it is good, in fact, it is not. It is causing lots of problems for users. It is very hard to remove WinAntiVirus Pro as other antivirus also trust it.
If you suspect that you have gotten the bloodhound virus, read Symantec's writeup on bloodhound.
The reason why it ran again when your PC starts up is because it has written a value in your registry, telling it to run every time despite being quarantined or deleted by the antivirus. You have to delete that registry value and probably configure some of the startup programs that will run once your PC starts up. -

I chip my 2cents in...anyone help me along if i am wrong
this kind of pop ups
are actually ads...usually they con you to buy certain stuff..and when u click on the "Yes" or "No"..it still brings u to the site and by then..spyware are in your com...nothing annoying as u can remove them easily but all this popups are just ads on luring the user on thinking that they have a virus
you usually just close those windows with the "X"
you won't get those virus unless u often go to

I've seen similar pop-ups before that PRETEND to be message boxes that pop out in Windows, but they contain HTML links. i'm sooo proud of my computer. I paid fully for it myself, and after one year plus it's still hale and healthy with no virus attack yet spyware also one small small problem nia. heh heh heh. -

mookie, i suggest you get Opera instead of using MSIE...
even the FireFox i used is not immune to spyware... am now using Opera full time.
