Help - SysProtect bugging me!

  explorer.exe runs automatically when Windows starts up, and it is rather weird that it is using lots of CPU resources. There could be something more that Norton didn't detect.

  I notice that it never state what products to ask you to download. Be careful of it.
  
  Since there are still similar popups, there could be still spyware(s) around your system. An analysis of your task manager processes revealed nothing, so I think now we must go the hard way.
  
  Get HijackThis. Extract to the desktop. Run it. Click on the first option that says "Do a system scan and save a log."

  Pardon me ahh hehehehe but is that REALLY 100% TRULY HONESTLY SINCERELY safe? Like, have you personally used that program before?

  maybe someone will test all of them

  I have used it. I wouldn't recommend unsafe things to users. It's much against ethics.

  xiaomayiiiiii... thank you so so so much for all your help! I really appreciate it that you've taken the time out to read my questions and come up with solutions for me!
  
  but then ahh, being one with a short attention-span, i'm going to shelve this for a little moment, because
  
  1) I'm really tired from this problem
  2) haven't been using much of the computer the past 2 days anyway
  3) I'm going to use the thing u recommended to scan again and also make use of this solution I've found (if i am indeed infected). But before I proceed with that solution, I'm going to buy some DVD-Rs/RWs and make a copy of recovery disks from my computer, since I'm not sure how turning off System Restore will affect my computer in future.
  
  Some day soon, perhaps this weekend I'll try to fix it.
