Then opened up the CPU. Locate that card. Unscrew it and take it out to make sure that you have the right card.

since u know nuts about graphic card. i strongly suggest u don't do anything to it. don't get yourself into a mess u cannot clean up. go get professional help.

opening up a factory fixed product will void the warrenty (that is if there still is warrenty under it)
the graphic card is normally the one @ the top of all the PCI buses, @ the AGP slot (same for PCI-E modos)
if u still dunno where u can check the serial port for your monitor... the place where the port goes is the graphic card
if your comp dont hav a graphic card tt means your graphics engine is integrated into the modo

You know a cuboid has 6 faces right? Left don't have, turn to the right side. Right side don't have look on top. On top don't have look below. if your graphic card is giving u problems, it doesn't mean your monitor is spoilt.
if your monitor is spoilt, change a new one.
or maybe u accidentally deleted your graphic card driver. reinstalling it will do. -

if your monitor is spoilt, change a new one.
