how to restore display settings to default?

  as above.
  
  i'm using win2k...
  
  no... not the monitor.. i mean the er pc display settings...
  
  i was playin around with the thing.... change the icon size whateva... but couldn find the default setting thingy..

  Right click on desktop and click on Properties.
  
  Select the Appearance tab and clicked on Advanced.
  
  Under Item, find Icon. Change the size to 32. That is the default icon size.

  what about the horizontal n vertical spacing thingy?

  You played with the buttons on the monitor?
  
  Just press the buttons, select the horizontal size and increase it. Same for vertical.

  Yup. Under Items, click Icon Spacing (horizontal) and Icon Spacing (vertical).
