  that's right. Local company Trek 2000 first introduced the ThumbDrive in early 2000. The tiny product proves to be success and as the saying goes, the rest is history. their website can be found below.

  the COE was also invented by a Singaporean ... the chaps up north expands so much effort and money to build protons, to earn a paltry few thousand ringgit each ....

  If memory serves me right, the COE scheme was initiated by Dr Hong Hai (then an MP as well as a former Msian).
