is it possible to lock my usb ports to prevent anybody from plugging in their thumbdrive and lifting my documents?
although i use one of my ports for my modem. can it be done?
I haven heard of locking USB ports with a password. You can try disabling them though
You can create a folder for all your documents, then hide the folder. Remember to select to hide all the documents as well. When you need it, open My Computer.
Go to Tools, Folder Options and select Show hidden files and folders. When you don't need to use the documents, set it back to Do not show hidden files and folders.
If you find this troublesome, password protect all your documents.
