Playing Console Games using your PC Monitor

I want to use my monitor as a display for my PS2, so I'm wondering if this box will allow me to do that. My monitor is a Philips 107S5 flatscreen CRT. Can anyone advise?

Hmm, i supposed it can. Right now i'm using another VGA box which i bought in Seow Cheon. It's much more like a switch to toggle between the computer input and the PS2 input.

Yes it can be used to connect to the TV as well, which means that you can use the TV as your monitor.

I have 2 choices:
1. Buy this TV Box that supports only CRT for approximately $45.
2. Buy a better TV Box that supports LCD monitors for $85
3. Buy a mini-TV that cost at least $100
I'd rule option 3 out as I have to find a place to put the TV.
I'm stuck between option 1 and 2. Option 1 is cheaper, but I will not be able to use it once I change to a LCD. Option 2 is better as it has in-built speakers and can work as a radio as well, but its mor costly.
Here are the specs for the 2nd TV Box:

Hmm, can't tell you what to buy... it depends on your budget and personal needs.
Ask yourself some qns before deciding to buy
1) Do you need the extra radio and speakers?
2) What are the chances of you getting a LCD screen in near future. -
I don't really need the speakers and radio function. But it's always better to be prepared for future upgrades, that's what I think. Still, the price difference is quite a bit for the upgrade-friendly function. $45 and $85.
