keeps coming out automatically and most of the times the options there were being clicked automatically... Also, the cursor of the mouse in the windows moves without me controlling the mouse...so you wanna tell us which websites you visited in the past 20 days?Originally posted by potong jalan:Thanks for everyone's advices...
Earlier on I have scanned my comp using anti-virus tools in safe mode and I detected 2 Hacktool.HideWindow.exe files and I have deleted it...
However, the problems still persists occasionally although not as severe as previously before I carried out my scan...
Also, I would like to confirm whether it is because one of the sites that I visits being hacked with Hacktool.HideWindow.exe files that caused my comp to be in this state? Thanks!![]()
Hacktool is related to IRC and trojan programs. Do you use any IRC-related chat client as your chat program? If yes, most likely you are infected through there.Originally posted by potong jalan:Thanks for everyone's advices...

No I didn't use any IRC-related chat client as your chat program and I am currently running Agnitum...Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Hacktool is related to IRC and trojan programs. Do you use any IRC-related chat client as your chat program? If yes, most likely you are infected through there.
If no, that means you have fallen into a trap set up by hackers. Usually through clicking of links in emails, pop-up advertisements or some warez websites.
My advice is to go and install anti-trojan horse program from Agnitum and remove it.
It may stay in the registry, so you have to get a registry cleaner like Registry Mechanic. Scan for registry keys related to Hacktool and delete them manually from the registry. Trial version of Registry Mechanic doesn't allow help you to remove the registry keys.
It means it is still in the registry. You have to use a registry scanner like the one I recommend, find the keys and remove them manually. If it is not possible, try this:Originally posted by potong jalan:No I didn't use any IRC-related chat client as your chat program and I am currently running Agnitum...
However it seems strange that although I have removed the Hacktool from the anti-virus tool but the problems still persist sometimes and I couldn't detect any viruses, trojans or bugs...
And yes, the problems persists although I have diosconnected my internet...
You could try unplugging your mouse from your mouse port and use keyboard to control your functions.Originally posted by potong jalan:I tried possible ways but still unable to solve the problem... The problems persists even if I am in safe mode of my comp...
In the end I lan lan no choice but to reinstall my computer back to factory condition... Just as I thought it will solve my problems, it persists even through I have restore my system to factory condition even before installing my modem to connect to the internet!
One thing to take note is that not every time this problem occurs on my comp but around 80% of the time when I on my comp this happen...
Now I have to send to my laptop manufacturer for repair since the warranty is still valid... Could it be possible that it is a hardware problem?
Restore to factory settings doesn't help because it isn't a reformat. It doesn't clear everything that is in the computer. You need a complete reinstall of the OS and perhaps something done to the hardware to clear some settings which will help clear the Hacktool.Originally posted by potong jalan:I tried possible ways but still unable to solve the problem... Does he mean restore as in - CD recovery(which will reformat the HDD and write the original PC WinXP into the HDD) or WinXP system restore?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Restore to factory settings doesn't help because it isn't a reformat. I'm puzzled as well.
Tried removed the mouse already, the rpoblems still persists...Originally posted by M©+square:You could try unplugging your mouse from your mouse port and use keyboard to control your functions.
If the problem still arises. Confirm it's software/malware/trojan fault.
But if it doesnt...you should know where the source of problem is.

It seems like my laptop is being 'controlled' by someone else... Even though I did not right click my right mouse things like thiskeeps coming out automatically and most of the times the options there were being clicked automatically... I tried system restore but my computer doesn't allow me to do so and my anti spyware and anti virus tools detected nothing... So are there anyways that I can solve this problem? Also what caused it to happen? Thanks!
