  Any firewall programes to recomed?? Im currently using comodo personal firewall, its absolutely free! but i don know whether it works though

  if u are looking for firewall software, u can choose free zonealarm firewall.. very easy to configure and effective...

  If you do not know if it works, you can find firewall tests online. They will use different methods to stress test and try to bypass your firewall. Their tests are not as novel or smart as a hacker's so if they can bypass your firewall, you should change firewall.

  If you are unsure if it works, try using these tests. Your firewall shouldn't fail these tests, if they fail, it means your firewall is misconfigured or it is just not up to standard.

  a firewall do more than just protect your privacy. it improves the performance by screening/stopping unwanted/unneccessary traffic in/out of your computer. who knows.. your neighbours may be using your terminal as a podcast.
