I dont know which direct X in Microsoft.com shld i download. Theres this user end runtime and direct x 9.0 user runtime....
wad r all these?? Im downloading Direct X so that i can play CSS. Anyone can help me??
oh, and i hope it doesnt need validation cos im using a office com.

DirectX is needed to make sure all graphics and sounds run smoothly. DirectX End-User Runtimes have been repackaged into one whole package, unlike last time, whereby users download each package one by one. -

Don have a specific answer...but anyway, does direct simply work after i download and installed it or shld i activate it or wadeva.
Im not sure wads the difference between "DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer"(whcih needs validation) and "DirectX End-User Runtimes (April 2006) Full Download"(which doesnt)

Installation pack can run offline if I'm not wrong. Web installer runs straight off the web, and can take quite some time. what's the latest ersion now? version 9.0? has been a long time since i played any games.
anyway, direct X comes together with most gamesin side the CD-ROM. upon installation they will check and prompt u to install/upgrade if nescessary. -
