Auto Reboot

  I have encountered this problem before.
  
  Pls provide the following information and it will provide more clues for the forumers to assist you.
  
  Is it always rebooting when U start up your PC or only just few occasions?
  
  Do you connect to the internet when your PC auto reboot itself?

  it will be good if u run a spyware and virus scan.. coz yur PC is lagging, it might be a sign of spyware or virus problem...

  ok.. after running the virus scan, do a spyware scan.. ifviruses or spyware is found, after removing it, see if the problem persists...

  I suspect it's a spyware problem.

  my computer reboots by itself without warning and start up as usual..then after start up its like the same..wats wrong leh??

  there might be a problem wif ur hardware. maybe the heater fan has spoilted. bring it for service if u still under warrantly.

  deleted fail? try booting into safe mode and scan again.. keep pressing F8 when u restart com... den scroll down and select Safe Mode w/o networking.. btw, which anti spyware and antivirus u using? I suggest u use Adaware SE and AVG antivirus..

  I use norton anti-virus.. I will try scanning my computer in safe mode..Is there any wait to set computer not to shutdown my computer? Because tonight i will be scanning virus using safemode and i afraid my computer might auto shut down my computer..
  Just now i got an blue screen...

  If your computer has been auto rebooting since you installed a new XP theme, this could be the most likely cause. You need to uninstall the theme, and do a system restore back to before you install the theme.

  1) Disconnect your internet connection, determine if you still encountering the auto reboot problem.
  
  2) Do a scan from the software.
  
  Regarding the rules, it's actually based on your intuition and experience in deciding whether you allow or block an exe file from connecting online.
  
  For a start, maybe you try to put everything to default by asking the program to decide accordingly and also ensure no spyware is detected or when you think it is a spyware program when there is a prompt for you to set the rule.

  Then i off my computer.. It have explorer.exe error. It say something like Ending Explorer.exe.. Then i could choose End Now..

  Your computer is still loading the startup programs. By offing the computer, it would give an error as the programs have not completely started up.

  Some clues i can give..
  My CPU was given by starhub by subscribing dunno wat..My computer has been fixed once.. The repairman told me tat my computer have some heat problem. He told me when he brought my CPU to his office. He found many dust on my cpu fan.

  Likely it is because of spyware problem or some trojan virus invading your PC.
  
  Can you press "Ctrl, Alt Del" together and click on "task manager" and "Process" and printscreen the list of programs in the task manager.
  Then paste or upload the pic here and see if ndmmxiaomayi can check for you.

  If it is some .zip files, you have to delete yourself. They usually can't delete for you.
  
  For the firewall, if you are unsure, get someone to help you set the rules. Otherwise, you can use ZoneAlarm, I can help you with setting of the rules as I'm using it now.

  A firewall will check everything that is coming in and going out, so it will lag a little, but it is not significant. If the lag is very obvious, it means you have spywares/viruses on your computer.
