Firefox hang

  it keep on hanging after reinstall....any solution? all my bookmarks all gone
  
  any browser to recommend also? thanks

  sumthing wrong with your comp... probably bad sector in RAM or HDD pagefile.
  
  Try opening many programs (but not firefox) at the same time and see if any of the other programs hang or not.

  other got no problem except for firefox

  clean ur registry, remove all traces of firefox

  Uninstall totally. After uninstall, enable hidden files and go to C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla and delete the entire Mozilla folder

  After reinstalling, the bookmarks should still be there because Firefox creates registry entries. Try waiting for a while, the bookmarks may need some time to show.
  
  Go to these folders to delete Firefox completely.
  
  C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Local Settings\Application Data
  C:\Program Files
  
  xxx is the username.
  
  Find the Firefox folder and delete everything.
  
  After that, reinstall Firefox.

  yr bookmars alrdy have backups..they are stored in HTML form in your firefox profile folders...i trust that u alrdy know how to find them?
