how to recharge lappy?

Currently using a acer travelmate. leave the lappy on powerpoint most of the times when i am at home. when i bring it out, the power often run out fast, like within 2 hours time. dono is it normal or not. heard it is quite short battery span.
the problem now is tt i need to recharge it. but everytime i put in on powerpoint state, it jus don charge... how? the battery life is always on 2%, how can i make it charge? -
everytime when u use adapter, do you take out ur batt?
when u charge, do u always leave it overnite or use the laptop when it's charging?
taking care of ur batt is very important
maybe ur batt oredi die le
bring to svc centre to check -

anyway, the impt thing now is how does the charging system works? it seems like don recharge on its own even when the batt life is so low now. 2%? omg... -

Your battery always at 2%? But in actual usage how long you can use with only the batt? 2min die already or you can use up till 2 hours?

usually it'll recharge when you plug in the AC adapter with the battery slotted in. If your laptop does not show that it is recharging, try heading down to the service centre. shld be able to charge when its connected to power point
if not, the batt is faulty or something. -

It will recharge on it's own once the adapter is plugged in. Usually, for a laptop, there are LED lights to indicate what things is for what. For mine, there are 3 LED lights, one indicating whether the laptop is on, one for battery, the other one for wireless/bluetooth. Look for the one that indicates the battery (a battery symbol). If it is charging, the LED light is blinking. If the LED light is not blinking anymore, yet your laptop keeps prompting you to recharge, the battery is faulty. Bring back to Acer service centre.
