Direct X

  so i have a need for speed 5 that requires direct X 7.0a to run..
  i have direct x 9.0c
  
  when im using direct x 9 i cant run the game and it hanged at the loading screen
  
  so can i still play?

  No, because the game has hung at the loading screen, so you can't play.

  no that goes for the same for another need for speed i downloaded

  By right it should run properly with DirectX 9c. You may want to try re-installing the DirectX

  do u have to RUN direct x when u play the game? i thought it runs automatically??
