How to unzip a "passworded" zip file?

  Hi guys,
  My lecturer gave me a notes he had in the past to help me with my project assignment but he forgotten his password.
  
  Is there any ways to unzip the file inside if i dun have the password?
  
  I really need the file~ can anyone pls help?

  There are apps that can break the password but its like under 10% chance you'll get it hacked. I personally tried it myself.

  simple. ask the lecturer to resend u the files again. this time tell him don't act smart put password.

  ran for 3hours to crack a 12 pwd long file
  
  i got bored so deleted it

  i think they should implement this feature into the zip file password. if one forgotten their password, a question (set by user) will pops up and correct answer will unlock the password.
