Problem with Internet Explorer

  Hi! today i remove my Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2. Then i download Beta 3.. Then when i restart my computer it became IE 6. How come? How to make it to BETA 3? How to remove my IE6?

  You downloaded the correct version? If you download the wrong version, Microsoft will automatically revert back to IE6. IE is part of the OS, you can never remove it.

  Yea i downloaded the correct version.. How to remove my IE 6 so i can download IE 7 Beta 3

  Yup i remove it then i download the IE B3 Then it became to IE 6..
  Now im using IE 6. I try many time installing B3 but it still went to IE6

  Try re-downloading it and reinstall it again.

  Current Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 or earlier users
  If you're running Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 or earlier, follow these steps prior to downloading Internet Explorer 7 Beta 3:
  
  Click your Start button, then go to Control Panel
  Go to Add or Remove Programs
  Go to Change or Remove Programs and make sure "Show updates" is checked.
  If you are running Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview released on March 20 or a later version, it is no longer necessary to check "Show updates."
  Scroll down on the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 Beta that you are running.
  Click "Remove" to uninstall the previous version of Internet Explorer 7 Beta.
  Reboot your PC and return to the download page for Internet Explorer 7 to begin downloading the latest version.
  

  I follow the instruction but i couldn't find my IE6
  
  MAN this getting me more time. I still have many things to do today.

  It only works for IE7, IE6 is integrated with the OS.

  Right now im already redownload my B3 and installing the B3..With my IE6 still on my computer

  The installation is over and it said Internet Explorer could not be installed.
  
  Oh ya just now i click Add/Remove windows component and i select IE then now my Paint and media player is gone.. yet lastime i forgot to on back my system restore. Now i dunno wat to do with my computer.

  You've got to reformat already..... unless you can access internet without using browsers..... which unfortunately, Windows doesn't offer....

  Hmm okay.. but my computer was given by starhub as their dunno wat. They install the window xp for me. I think they didnt giv me the window xp disc

  as for yur case, u can reformat w/o using the CD.. yur PC is Compaq rite? If I not wrong, u need to type a combination of keys when PC is booting, den it will start the reformatting session.. U need to call Compaq or HP to confirm...

  if you have other things to do...stick to firefox first and settle your "problem" another day...
