USB Not Detected and worse..

  yeah. i checked bios, enabled. the auto-off for usb hub is disabled.
  
  the drivers where to download? drivers for the device or the root hub?

  Device manage > USB controller ... right click update driver

  Check your USB ports. Make sure that the piece of plastic is there.
  
  
  
  If any of the USB ports doesn't have this piece of plastic, no matter what device you plug in, it will fail to detect. Same goes for your USB devices.

  i got a new pci card but it gives me "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)".

  1. disabled the onboard usb controller.
  2. uninstall, reboot and it reinstalls.
  3. uninstall and reinstall.
  4. disable other usb controllers from device manager.
  
  any more ideas or solutions?

  I think some of your hardwares are in conflict. Do you have more one PCI card?

  personally, i think my mobo is busted or close le..
  
  my friend says reinstall mobo drivers.. which ive no idea wad he toking.

  Just reinstall everything, from sound drivers to video drivers, any CD that is given to you. After that, search for newer updates for these drivers.
