first question, yes. Its also recommended that you remove your battery from the laptop after charging finish and continue your work on AC power. my gf finally bought the tablet. being our "first time" having a laptop, i also had some problems fixing up some stuff for her so i hope some guys can help here.
for tablets OS they have this thing call the Input Panel, to write on it the space should be yellow, but dunno wat we press den the space becomes blue and cannot write on it liao. out of the 3 types of modes in Input panel, only one can be used, that is the touch keyboard.
also i cant seem to set up for her home network. i am able to connect to the wireless network to surf the net etc, but i need to set up a home net work so she can transfer files easily. the tablet OS doesnt seem to have the same set up as normal desktops. usually we will go to My Network Connections and setup "Setup a home or small office network" and its prett easy from there but the tablet is diferent lei.
any help? -

Is using a laptop using AC powered(battery taken out) for 3-4 hours straight advisable? Because I was using it just now and the base of my laptop was hot.. How ah?

As long as those programs don't use lots of resources, it's all right. However, laptops can heat up quite fast after using for a few hours. You can get those balls to stick to the underside of your laptop, so that air can flow and cool the base. If not, you can buy a cooling base from Popular. As for the network, go to Control Panel, Network Setup Wizard. Follow the instructions to set up a home network. -

Thats normal. A cooling base can reduce the heat on the underside by providing more air circulation. It's pretty effective in my case.
