  how do u actually disable the feature where i need to type my user name..and staight away load my desktop?

  if u only have 1 account which is the main administrator account , it wont prompt u to login .. if u have a guest acccount .. delete the guest account
  
  u can check under .. control panel > user accounts
  
  if the above fail u can try ... click on change the way user log on/off
  
  untick welcome screen
