Weird file

Theres this video that i'm trying to delete, but for some reason i cant delete it it says a program is using it. Problem is there is no program on at that time, so abit weird den i went to safe mode to try and delete it, it still said a program is using it. Den i tried S&D, Adaware and AVG to see if they detect it as a spyware but nothing found. I tried to right click and see the properties of the video file, but everytime i do it the com lags and nothing happen.
So I wanna ask if theres any other way to remove this weird file? -

you might want to remove the file using hijackthis or:
++ to launch your Tskmgr.
Terminate the Explorer.exe process.
Create a New Task.
Type "cmd"
Go to the directory where you file can't be deleted.
Type del "filename"

By right, you are able to delete video files. Unless your Windows Media Player is opened or some other players are opened. Hi, chances are, you will not find any adware related to this problem. Windows XP has a bad habit of associating video and music files to another program and then forgets to release the association, thus causing you to be unable to move, delete or rename the file. It tells you that the file is currently in use despite all the programs being closed.
I do not know how to release the association but instead, I use a program downloaded from the internet, GiPo@moveonboot to delete/move/rename the file at the next boot up. -
What I failed to mention is that, please ensure that there are no programs that are really using the file when you try to delete it. It might be an honest mistake!

i tried hijackthis, den whilst setting the file for deletion next reboot, the hijackthis program sort of hanged.....not really hang lah maybe loading btu i lazy so i closed it haha, when nothing better to do den go delete.
and yah windows xp sucks
