Printer can't print in black color only!?

Replaced black ink cartridge and color ink cartridge. First few times I could still print in black. Then it became very faint.
Did nozzle check and the black color didnt show(very faint).
Other colors are ok.
Did head cleaning for many times still can't solve the problem.
Is it my printer or my ink

How does the previous printed documents look like? Does it use a lot of ink, especially black ink? If no, then it's not printer and cartridge problem. You got cheated. If yes, there's probably some problems with the cartridge, they can't control the ink flow.

Nope but I remember that I saw a patch of black ink, the size of a 50 cent coin(not alot isnt it?). I think it was after that then the ink became very faint. Not very sure.

Errr.... that's a lot. Your black cartridge probably has problems controlling the ink flow. You've got to change the black cartridge. Hmm that's alot? Does that mean the ink has finished?

It has not been used up, but there is too little left, that's why the printed documents are faint.

which brand is ur printer?
U bought original cartridges?
where did U buy ur cartridges from or did U keep them for a long time before using?
ink can dry up in its cartridge so best not to buy many spares and keep... -

Xcert: Its Epson Stylus Photo 810. Not original. I used it as soon as I bought it, but I guess the shop's stuff are going slow. But the thing is it worked initially. The ink shouldnt be dry. -

so now depends on what U want to do...if U still have the receipt...go back to the shop and make noise...if not...since not original,U can try getting original one if U feel that U can afford it for test or get another non-original from another shop to try ur luck again...or...U can get another printer...
personally I suggest U get original to try again...even if U finally find that its ur printer that is causing the problem and send it back for service...I dont think Epson will be very happy to see ur non-original cartridge...
