c drive

anyone knows how to transfer D drive space to my C drive?
thats because when i reformat my com sometime ago,
i put my c drive space the same as my D
in the end i realised that my C drive only got 19 gig of space
and now its left with 8 gig of free space
while my d drive have 19 gig of space and 18 gig of freespace
so anyone can enlighten me?

you can't transfer the disk space...cos if you do...you would need to do a partition again which means all you data will be wiped out...
using partition magic will have the same result also...
if you want to free your c: ...transfer those things like pictures and songs and whatever word or readable documents to your d:...those important stuff like windows file...registry...programs folder...you can leave it in your c:
if you really want to change the disk size for c: and d: for free...only a reformat is you answer... -

yes...bottomline you can't change the disk size of your c: and d: unless you do a partition or while refomating...decide how much space you want to allocate to each disk...
normally...laptops have two partitions in them when you first bought it... -

not a reformat again...
my files will be gone
but nvm the disc for my reformatt has been spoilt -
if u come to this state during formatting and not with any other partitioning software easy...use your OS disc and boot from CD-rom...there will be anoption to just delete your "D" drive...just select and the free space will be assigned to the existing "C". i dun know what OS u using but if its XP sure easy to fix that no need to do other formatting or get other software
