Hi, my comp always gets shut down for no reason..there's no blue screen nothing. The cpu just totally turn off! Happens sometimes and i'm afraid something is wrong with the motherboard? But no..i just gotten it change 4 months back..how can it spoil so fast?
Lots of reasons.
1) You have a virus. Scan for it. Remember to update your antivirus before scanning.
2) There's not enough power supplied to the computer. When your computer first started and not too many programs are running, it probably have enough power. However, as you load more and more programs and play some games, there's not enough power and that's why it will auto shutdown.
3) Overheating. This is especially if you are a hardcore gamer and overclocks. If you don't provide enough cooling facilities, once your computer hits a certain temperature, it will trigger the motherboard to turn off.
