What files are safe to delete?

  Is it ok to delete files from Temp folder?
  
  like
  C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp
  
  also dont know how they get there..
  
  are there any more files which keeps popping up in the HDD but are safe to delete?

  Temporary files are safe to delete. The ones in the Recycle Bin are also safe to delete. When I'm free, I will upload a program to help you clear the unnecessary files.

  Hi, I use a very simple program called Free Internet Eraser to clear my temp folders. Its not very feature packed, it only does one thing, and does it well. It allows you to schedule your deletions and you can set the number of times you overwrite the deleted files for more protection.

  if it does, then why do we need to dl softwares like ccleaner? why not just tell us to just do defrag and go to Disk Cleanup?

  CCleaner got an additional feature, which allows you to rewrite a maximum of 7 times to prevent data recovery. Disk Cleanup don't.
  
  Anyway, one of the .bat files that you all downloaded is a modified version of Disk Cleanup.
