Winzip 10.0

  Hi, i'm currently using Winzip 8.1 (registered) and have some questions which i hope the people here can help me.
  
  i visited the Winzip website and found that version 10.0 is the latest version. my questions are;
  
  1) is Winzip not free anymore? even if i'm a registered user of a previous version i still must pay to upgrade?
  
  2) How long can we use the evaluation version of WinZip 10.0 if we don't pay?

  1) Winzip has never been free, although they keep prompting you that your evaluation period is over. Since you are registered user, means that it has been paid. If you upgrade, you have to pay, as with all software upgrades.
  
  2) You can use Winzip for a period of 30 days without that nagging screen. After 30 days, you still can use it, but it will keep prompting you to buy.

  i see. ya i remember that nagging screen.
  
  so that means to say i can download and use version 10.0 forever lah, but with that nagging screen right?

  wah, still got people use winzip one. I use winrar corporate edition.
