Problem's with >500GB hdd

I am thinking of getting some external backup hdd and will most probably mod a SATA unit with an enclosure. I am aiming at 500GB and greater (mayb 750MB) and would like to know if there are any known issues with such larger capacity drives.

If you are using FAT or FAT32, then will have problems. NTFS will not run into problems.

bo bian 1 disk size so big and i guess if using windows going from XP onwards disk format all NTFS..unless using ME or thumbdrivve FAT and FAT32 maybe. guess will check out other forums before i save up wnough for a disk size so big...mayb by then the price of large disk will go down faster unlike RAM, mobo and CPU.

Now i have a 250GB unit (not Seagate)...almost up have to always delete files that i dun want to reclaim space...somemore using comp when the hdd is at its near brim not healthy leh...Seagate is good and reliable but will consider larger capacity.
