My ALL PROGRAMS files are missing!! WHY!!???

Few days ago, whenever I highlight my All Programs on start menu, nuthin will appear... So I thought maybe got bug or something. I didnt care so much as I never use the menu often.
But today, decided to get a program from there... but but... i cant.
when i switch to classic mode... and highlight ALL PROGRAMS.. another window came out and say... (EMPTY) WTF!!!???
what happen...? i didnt do anything!.. but in my C drive... the programs files are intact... except for the ALL PROGRAM link at start menu..its empty! why why why?? -

on the taskbar...right click properties->start menu->customize->play around with it...

Go into this folder and make sure nothing is deleted.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu
If it isn't empty, try System Restore. If it's empty, then wait for expert to help you. I have no idea already. -
I think your Registry is damaged.
You may even have lost or damaged File Allocation Table, which tells Windows where your files are, or your 'Profile' is lost somehow. -

Take out your hard disk, slave jump it, and back up your files from another PC. You'll find your files are all there when you slave your HDD.
Re-install your WIndows....
