Urgent! How to convert jpeg/wmv to formatplayable vcd player

as above.
I need to make the jpeg pics or wmv file playable by VCD player, but vcd player cannot recognise.
what program can i use to reconvert the format to that able to play on the vcd player?

As far as I know, it's not possible on older VCD players.
If it's a pretty new VCD player, and it supports the reading of CD-R or CD-RW CDs, you can re-burning a copy. -
problem might lies in your vcd player...think those newer ones that accept "mp3" songs and above should allow...cos its like they can now recognise computers files...
and you can use windows movie to have your jpeg pics and wmv together... -
i found a program to convert the jpeg/wmv to mpeg which they then say can reconvert the mpeg to .dat through burning a cd with nero.
can i use microsoft available programs to burn a cd in .dat format?

nope, it does not work....
still stuck with mpeg format and my vcdplayer does not recognise it....how? -
yup, my vcdplayer is supposed to recognise mp3s and vcds, its stated on the player.

use nero no need lah...when about to burn you sel "burn as VCD/ SVCD" then it will do everything on the CD-r itself. when after u complete burning you put the CD-r in a VCD-player can playback 1. put in cd-rom and browse content you can find a .dat file and many chapalang files inside just like any original VCDs you buy in stores.

which program you refering to? is it microsoft media player? or write files to cd? thanks.

there is no "burn as vcd/svcd" option in both the programs....which program are you refering to? thanks.

ok, nevermind, i downloading ultra-dvd creater program as its smaller than nero.

If you use Nero StartSmart, select the Photo and Video tab.
Click Make Photo Slide Show (VCD). Put in the files you want and follow instructions. I've tested it and it works. -
