My friend send me a program that is made up of 2 files, a mdf and a mds, according to him I have to use a software call 120% alcohol to open, then to burn, unfortunately i do not have a disc cos the file is too big, how do i get it to extract to the desktop and use the program from there?

ok, if one file doesnt respond, try the other one.
if both files dont respond, perhaps they are not meant to respond, meaning there is no autoexec file, so when you mount it nothing happens. Try opening the content, right click on your mounted virtual drive and choose 'explore' to see.

If its a proper image file then it should auto-run when u mount it.
Try going to My Computer and explore the mounted file.
