hanged and auto-restart

why is it that sometimes when im in the middle of a (pirated) game or smth, my comp will auto-reboot by itself (sometimes to a blue screen, not DOS) and it happened many times a day? i faced this prob last time and solved the prob though (brought my whole PC for service because smth worst happened than this)
but i still want to know the cause of it in case it happens again. is it because of not enough RAM? over-application? virus? pardon my noobness.

check ur cpu temperature.. maybe ur graphics card is overheated. some cracks does cause instability to the game especially when its those cutting edge type. just a small risk.. harder den striking 4d. but who knows..

It can be overheating but it can be a system error caused by the (pirated) game. Some (pirated) games may corrupt the system while playing, resulting in sudden reboots or BSODs...
What does the BSOD say? -
Some cracked games aren't stable, so it will cause system instabilities and result in BSODs of which you have to restart.
If it restarts automatically halfway through a game, it's either the programming flaw in pirated games which caused your PC to be using so much system resources that it has no choice but to reboot, or your PC is overheating. If you overclocked, please set them back to the default settings. -
i think u got blue screen of death. which is too fast until u cannot see. den auto restart.
you can disable auto restart. but not reommended
1. right click my computer
2.click properties:
3. click on "Advance" tab
4. under "startup and recovery" click settings
5. under "system failure", uncheck "Automatically restart"
6. click ok, all the way and u are done -
Unlikely. BSOD will inform you that it is dumping memory and a log file will be created in C:\Windows or wherever you installed Windows.
