Stick-its for Active Desktops?

  anyone knows if there's any programme to have stick it notes on the desktops? like i can type in a note for today and have it on my desktop so i wouldnt miss it

  Seen something like that in my friend's MacPro. Its a third-party software i think. Windows is possible, try http://www.wincustomize.com They do have some widgets
