My laptop's DVD drive has been working rather erratically of late. There's no problem with CD-Roms, but sometimes it can't seem to read DVDs and I have to restart the computer once or twice before it manages to read the DVD. What's the problem with the DVD drive? Is it spoilt? Do I have to replace it?

or maybe u will put a disc inside but it will keep spinning and spinning & not reading it
