problem: generic host process & svc host

  as the above picture shows...
  i don't know happened and since 2 days ago..
  after i boot up my comp.. in less than 5 mins..
  this error will occur and i can't play music from itunes or any games except
  windows system sound..
  
  what happened?

  err... lolol.. mine is fake os.. and everything came together.. including the

  is really cool skin, but the error message i read it somewhere before. give me a monent, i try run my itune, see whether will get the same error message as your a not.

  when to check it just now, i dont have the error message that you have, but i cannot run my program. they didnt show me a error message and pop a message asking me whether send or dont send

  haha.. thanks.. but actually.. i play any games.. they will say
  "sound fail to initialise" or something like that
  then further more.. when i click on the volume icon on my task bar,
  they will say hardware not present..
  its only happened after the error prompted..

  i have the generic host prob sometimes too....when i turn off my windows firewall but it's ok when u turn it on..but it shouldn't be like that right? i dun want to have the error when i turn off my firewall.

  I'm not totally sure but I beleive this is related to a problem with your intel driver and Windows XP Service pack 2. To be more specific, Data Execution Prevention (DEP).

  its de vista skin?Im using a similiar 1 too anw...did u dld any oacth from windows update recently?and in de meantime..do a mass spyware scan....adaware..CWshredder...Spybot..

  in de end.. i didn't reformat my comp
  i ran virus scan from AVG and trend micro system (www.antivirus.com) free online scaning..
  ran my ad-aware professional and search and destroy..
  they nv report much spyware...

  Number 1 rule for running HijackThis, please don't run it in a temporary folder.
  
  Go to C drive and create a folder called HJT.
  
  Extract HijackThis to that folder and post again.
