Recommend mobile phone

Would like recommendations from the experienced mobile phone users.
I may be looking for a phone for convenience of use for travel overseas or work assignments. basically i need it to have some sort of like GPS function that can tell me my location in SG or another country (e.g China, Batam or My etc). Mp3 ringers fine and if it comes with/ without a camera i don't mind. Basically it should be a model reliable for use overseas and locally. -
