Burning Dvds

  Burning avi files to dvds so can be watched on tv
  
  Just wondering, how long does it takes? Im using audsoft dvd creator. Has completed burning the episodes in, and now it says "Making DVD Menu" for the past 2hours.
  
  Right now, total time used wast 6 hours 40mins and still going
  
  issit normal?

  How big is your file? It took me an hour plus for a 2gb file.

  i think about 1.5gb of files nia leh
  
  7hours should be enough right
  
  maybe its dvd burner fault..

  Are you using any other applications? I found it quicker when all other windows were closed.

  me opposite....
  
  my laptop does not have DVD drive
  
  so i have to rip the DVD at my PC
  then transfer from PC to my ext hdd so i can plug into my notebook to play
  
  ripping takes about 1hr+

  Encoding DVD menu usually takes 1~2 hours at most. Any longer and you should restart it. Make sure all other programs are closed btw.
