how to convert RMVB to VCD?

  i downloaded a few video file with .rmvb.
  want to burn them in VCD.
  
  i have Nero 7. Nero 7 can convert mpeg to VCD.
  however, it seems that Nero 7 cannot convert rmvb to VCD.
  
  can anyone advise how to do it?

  every rmvb file has the advertisement portion at the beginning. i would like to remove them before burning them into VCD.
