I sort of do not know why this is happening, but my comp keeps hanging for a few times everytime I want to use it(Switching it off then on again). It's like at first I won't be able to move my mouse but music still playing, then few seconds later is like my CPU shuts down(The sound when CPU shuts down), although my monitor is still on(still). When I on it again, it's like the cooling fan runs at a fast speed(I can hear the sound of it rotating). I already ran virus and adware checks already...Sp I really don't know what is wrong with the computer, like must restart few times then can use normally, but after shut down, if i want to use again the same procedure repeats itself...can anyone tell me?

the things i did is all ordinary, surfing forums, playing games. that was it. I only installed games like Hero, that was it.

Should be Hardware issue. Quite possible the HDD cos I had similar symptons a while a ago and changed the HDD ok liao -
usually change it will cost how much?

By the way peeps, its a Dell desktop. Hm... Your computer should still be under warranty. If its a hardware failure you should call Dell up.

Anyway, going by the way your PC runs, it's either something failing inside or your hardware is going to die soon.
Since the fan is spinning so fast, it hints that something real hot is going on inside. If you overclock, please use the default settings. If you didn't, please close any unnecessary programs that you are running.
Changing a HDD would cost you about $75 for a 80GB. -
Why not learn to fix your own PC problems? Save repair and maintenance cost. Help your friends with their PC problems. (They will love you)
