Core 2 Duo supports 64bit
Core Duo supports 32bit environment only
Core 2 Duo futureproof and completely Vista ready
Core 2 Duo is supposed to be faster than Core Duo while having similar energy usage
Best of all, Core 2 Duo beat the AMD FX-62 in most areas

Is it true that Core 2 is running on 4mb L2 cache and Duo Core is doing likewise at 2mb L2 cache? And heard that Core 2 battery life is longer?
Anyone can verify this? And perhaps an explaination. Thanks.
